Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry is a volunteer organization. More than 300 volunteers from area churches, community organizations, and businesses serve without compensation, apart from the pleasure and pride in knowing that they are making a difference in their local communities.
There are hands-on volunteer opportunities at Fish & Loaves for almost all ages in our store, warehouse, or office and our other programs.
Volunteer time is scheduled to accommodate your availability and the needs of the pantry in any given week. Church, community, and business groups can also request special projects suited to both their abilities and availability.

Warehouse Volunteers Needed
Mondays 7am-11am or 1pm-4pm Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays 7am-11am or 12pm-3pm Warehouse volunteers handle loading and unloading deliveries, sorting and stocking shelves, coolers, and freezers, and cleaning. May include lifting 15-20lbs.
Intake Office Volunteers Needed
Mondays 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm or 3pm-6pm Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm Intake Office volunteers must be competent with phones and computers and handle customer service, client scheduling, and office related tasks.
Pantry Volunteers Needed
Mondays 9am-12pm or 1pm-6pm Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm Pantry volunteers handle client direction throughout the pantry, bagging groceries, and restocking shelves. May include lifting 15-20lbs.

Saturday Fresh Market
This program is held on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Saturday of the month at Fish & Loaves from 9am-12pm.
Fresh Market is closed the 3rd Saturday of the month, holidays, and in cases of extreme weather events.
Volunteers are needed to help sort produce, pack bags, and load cars during the drive-thru pickups from 8:15am-12:15pm. Individuals, families, church groups, employees, clubs, etc. are all welcome, sign up today!
Do you have a large group (10 or more) interested in volunteering? If so, please contact [email protected] to schedule a day to volunteer.

TEFAP & FOCUS Hope
TEFAP and FOCUS Hope food distribution takes place on the third Saturday of each month. Volunteers are needed to help check in clients, sort food, and load food for clients from 8am-11:30am.
